Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that his country would take another step to reduce its commitment to the nuclear agreement reached with the world powers in 2015. He said, according to Iranian media quoted him as saying: «The third step will be implemented in reducing commitments in the current situation, we said that if not (The agreement) is fully implemented, our implementation will be the same approach is not completed, and of course, all our movements are within the framework of the work of the agreement ».

Commenting on the United States imposing sanctions on Zarif on Wednesday, by freezing any property or interests within it, the Iranian minister said he had nothing there, adding that he was "proud to impose US sanctions on him," he said. Zarif pointed to the request of some member states of the group «4 + 1», not to implement the third step to reduce the obligations of the nuclear agreement by Iran, and continued: «This issue of the powers of Tehran to take a decision on it, and certainly if the other parties did not implement their obligations under Nuclear agreement will take the third step ».

Iran has taken two steps to reduce its obligations under the nuclear deal in 2015, in response to the US withdrawal from it and imposing sanctions on Tehran. These steps are to increase uranium enrichment to the specified rate of 3.67 percent and increase the stockpile of LEU from the planned amount , 300 kg.

Iran has said several times it will limit its commitment to the nuclear agreement in stages, and may withdraw from it altogether unless the remaining parties find ways to protect the Iranian economy from US sanctions. Last month Iran threatened to restart centrifuges, Purity of 20%, in exceeding the limits of the agreement, and Iranian officials said that it is possible to reverse all actions taken by Tehran to reduce its commitments to the nuclear agreement, if the other parties signed the agreement obligations.
