Will Franky Zapata be able to cross the Channel this Sunday, August 4th? The "flying man" had already tried his luck a few days ago, aboard his FlyBoard, this flying platform powered by reactors. But he had fallen to the water halfway through. This time Franky Zapata has put all the chances on his side to achieve his goal.

Departure is scheduled between 7am and 8am French time, Sangatte in the Pas-de-Calais.

As for his first attempt, Franky Zapata will take off from Sangatte in Normandy early this Sunday morning, to try to reach St Margaret's Bay in England aboard his famous FlyBoard . But this time, the flying man took into account the factors that had led to failure in the previous test.

To begin with, he repaired his flying machine, of course, because the engines and electronics of the machine had been damaged during the fall of the inventor on July 25th. Above all, the former world champion jet-ski made some changes to the refueling stage. Because to fly, the FlyBoard uses fuel, stored in the backpack of Franky Zapata, and must refuel at mid-term.

Only remember: during the previous test, it was at the time of replenishment that Franky Zapata had fallen into the water. He had hit the platform of the boat that was carrying the kerosene necessary for crossing, about fifteen kilometers from the French coast. So this time, the inventor and his team chose a larger supply boat, so easier to dock, and located in French waters, so a little closer to the starting point.

And if he still failed, Franky Zapata guarantees: he will not stop until he has made his bet.
