Jeremy Chardy of France, ranked 74th overall, qualified for the quarter-finals of the ATP tournament in Kitzbuhel (Austria) by beating Croatian Dusan Lajovic, 26th, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3, on Wednesday. 2nd round.

Chardy, 32, is looking for the second title of his career after opening his record in Stuttgart in 2009. Finalist in 2018 on the turf of s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, he had also reached the quarters of final in Hamburg last week.

Jérémy Chardy, last Tricolore in the running after the elimination of Richard Gasquet on Tuesday, will face for a place in the last square the Spaniard Albert Ramos (69), winner of his compatriot Jaume Munar (88) 6-2, 6-3. Ramos, 31, took the second title of his career last Sunday on the Swiss clay court of Gstaad.
