A senior US official said a White House National Security Council official met with a North Korean official in a demilitarized zone last week.

At last month's Panmunjom, President Trump and Kim Jong-il met to deliver a memorial photo taken at the time of the North Korean state secretary's meeting.

A senior US official said North Korea would resume talks on North Korea's talks in the near future.

It was a place to deliver commemorative photos, but it is likely that discussions between the two sides have been held in order to resume practical negotiations.

However, it is not known who the North Korean authorities are in the demilitarized zone and when the talks will resume.

President Trump meets reporters and reiterates his relationship with Kim.

[Trump / President: The relationship with Kim Jong Eun is very good. You might have seen it. Let's see what happens. I can not tell what will happen.]

The negotiations are likely to resume soon, as North Korea, which has delayed the resumption of the negotiations on the grounds of the US-ROK military drill, has changed its stance.

In the meantime, there are also observations that contact between North Korea and the United States may be made for concrete discussions on the resumption of the negotiations at the ARF Security Forum in Bangkok this week.
