The Acting US Ambassador to Yemen Junaid Mounir affirmed his country's firm stance in supporting the legitimacy and official institutions of the State and its keenness to achieve lasting peace, reach a political solution, end the suffering of the Yemeni people and put an end to the deterioration of the humanitarian situation.
This came during a meeting with Yemeni Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Dr. Mansour Bajash on Monday to discuss developments in Yemen and efforts exerted by the legitimate government to achieve peace and restore stability.
