Fifteen civilians were killed and 30 others were injured Saturday in fresh air raids by the regime and Russia on a zone to reduce escalation in northwestern Syria.

Since Saturday morning, the Syrian Air Traffic Monitoring Observatory reported that the forces of the regime had shelled the city of Jericho in Idlib, the villages of Al-Amqiya, Murek, Hawash and the town of Bareef in the governorate of Hama.

The Observatory pointed out that Russian planes targeted the bombing of the village of Lutman and the town of Kafr Zeita in the suburb of Hama, and resulted in the Russian shelling, which lasted an ambulance in Kafr Zeita, killing three members of medical personnel in the region.

According to civil defense sources, 12 civilians were killed and 30 wounded in the Syrian regime attacks on Jericho, amid continuing search and rescue operations, making the number of dead candidates to rise.

Since April 26, the regime and its allies have been waging a fierce bombing campaign on the area of ​​reducing the escalation in northern Syria, which was determined by the Astana talks, in conjunction with a ground operation.

In mid-September 2017, the guarantors of the Astana route (Turkey, Russia and Iran) announced an agreement to establish a zone to reduce the escalation in Idlib and its environs.
