RAK Municipality approved 11 conditions for the approval of the construction of Barjil houses, in return for a discount of between 10 and 100% on final fees, according to the primacy of the issuance of the building permit.
The municipality's director general, Munther bin Shukr al-Za'abi, told Emirates Al-Youm: "The municipality has classified Barghil's houses into three types: the private villas for the citizens, the investment villa and the villas established by the state. The license requires 11 conditions, including the six previous conditions, in addition to five new requirements, namely the use of high-efficiency lighting devices, the use of renewable water heating systems, and the creation of an area Solar panels to allow the installation of solar panels in the future to generate electricity, and check the leaking of air before the issuance of the certificate of completion, and the application of specifications of the paint walls and ceilings.
Al-Zaabi added that the Municipality has set exceptions to the issuance of Bargil licenses to encourage citizens and real estate investment companies to build Bargil houses in Ras Al Khaimah. He pointed out that financial incentives are granted to owners of projects that adopt Bargil's requirements during the optional application period.
