She had never before come to the attention of the administration or law enforcement, said Nazarov.
According to him, the 46-year-old father of the boy, Valentin Matvienko, is engaged in business - owns a cafe, and the stepmother was pregnant. As for the native mother of Tikhon, Valentine achieved the deprivation of her parental rights several years ago. Nazarov also added that the child gives varying testimony regarding the incident.

The investigation opened a case against the father under clause “d” of subsection 2 of article 127 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Unlawful deprivation of liberty”). The man is now on his own recognizance. According to the incriminated article, he may face up to two years in prison.

Recall, on July 18, a 10-year-old boy Tikhon was discovered by sellers of a trade center in the Pyaterochka store in the village of Velikovechnoye, Belorechensky district of Kuban. According to her, after a divorce from Valentin to 3.5 years, the boy lived with her. One day, after a man took his son for the weekend, he refused to return him to Victoria. Since then, she has not seen the boy for almost six years.
