“The invitation of the President of Poland to the President of Belarus to take part in commemorative events on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World War was indeed received,” RIA Novosti quoted Natalia Eismont, press secretary for Lukashenko.
She noted that the issue of Lukashenka’s visit to Poland is under consideration.
Earlier, the media reported that US President Donald Trump will arrive in Poland on August 31 to take part in memorial events on September 1 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the start of World War II.
