The National Unity Government claims to have rejected a "major offensive" south of the capital. The Libyan National Army of Marshal Haftar, who has been conducting an offensive since April 4 to conquer Tripoli, is speaking from his side of progress on several fronts.

Official statements from Tripoli continue to contradict each other. Each camp involved in this war claims that the fights of its last hours turn in their favor.

Since Monday morning, the Libyan National Army Marshal (ANL) Khalifa Haftar is conducting a broad offensive on several fronts, while intensifying air strikes. They target the positions of pro-government National Union (GNA) militias in Tripoli and Gharyan .

The ANL claims to have " progressed " on the ground and said to have repelled the militias of Tripoli towards the interior of the capital: " We are moving with a firm step ," says a general.

The ANG, for its part, denies any progress of the ANL, and claims to have repelled the attack of Marshal Haftar. According to the military spokesman of the Government of National Unity, Fayez el-Sarraj's loyal air force carried out several strikes that allowed it to destroy a dozen military vehicles of the Libyan National Army. The strikes also reportedly cut off Khalifa Haftar's supply routes, according to the spokesman for the GNA.

The ANL says it is preparing for the final assault to control the capital. His forces evoked the opening of new fronts that will facilitate entry into Tripoli. The RNG, led by Fayez el-Sarraj, expressed concern. He again asks the international community to intervene.
