French florists Enzo Lefort, Erwann Le Pechoux, Maxime Pauty and Julien Mertine won the silver medal at the World Fencing Championships, beaten by the Americans at 45 in 32 on Tuesday in Budapest.
This silver medal puts the French, European champions a month ago, in an excellent position to go for the Olympic qualification, reserved for the four best world nations and the best continental (Europe, Asia / Oceania, America, Africa) beyond this world top 4.
