Trump said he could "win the war in Afghanistan in a week"

“I could win this war in a week. I just don’t want to kill 10 million people, ”Trump told journalists after a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The president said that he "has plans for Afghanistan," and if he wanted to win the war, then Afghanistan would have been "wiped off the face of the earth" in ten days.

“We have been in Afghanistan for 18 years. This is stupid, ”he said.

Earlier, in an interview with Fox News, Trump said that Washington intends to reduce the number of its troops in Afghanistan, while leaving intelligence units there.
