“If Iran stays on this dangerous path, they must accept that the price will be a wider military presence in the waters along its coast,” the diplomat said.

On July 19, Iranian IRGC forces detained a British oil tanker Stena Impero in the Strait of Hormuz and escorted him to the port of Bandar Abbas.

In Tehran, noted that the vessel has violated international shipping regulations.
