A sick fox bitten the Zurich University Hospital in the arm, resulting in a minor wound.

"The fox sneaked into the room through the open balcony door," hospital spokeswoman Kennedy Madre told Swiss news agency Monday.

The spokeswoman said the patient did not deal with the incident seriously, but the spokeswoman said: "But it was really a coincidence of bad luck," pointing out that the patient may have leveraged her arm on the edge of the bed.

The spokeswoman confirmed that the hospital personnel took care of the patient, and they cleared the wound for her, and also said: "There are a lot of foxes in the city."

Madar said the reason for the fox's infiltration to the hospital from the ground is still unclear.
