“Investigators and criminologists of the Privolzhsky Investigation Department of Transport of the IC of Russia left to inspect the aircraft that made an emergency landing at the Kazan airport,” the report says on the department website
According to the investigation, the decision about the forced landing of the airliner at the airport of departure was made in connection with the cabin smoke and “possible malfunctions in the left engine.”
On board the airline "Victory", which returned to the airport of departure after 35 minutes after takeoff, there were 185 passengers and 6 crew members.
As a result of the incident no one was hurt.
Previously, the plane, en route from Surgut to Rostov-on-Don, was forced to sit at Ufa airport because of the poor state of health of the passenger.
