After asking Democrats to return to the countries they came from, US President Donald Trump believes it is up to them, not him, to apologize.

Donald Trump persists and signs. After having invited four elected Democrats to " return from where they come " in a flurry of Sunday tweets, the tenant of the White House has re-offended this Monday morning by asking them to apologize to the Americans. Calling their actions " horrible ", he accused them of loving " the enemies of America ".

When will the Radical Left Congresswomen apologize to our Country, the people of Israel and even the Office of the President, for the foul language they have used, and the terrible things they have said. So many people are angry at them & their horrible & disgusting actions!

Donald Trump told reporters that his tweets were not racist, that many people agreed with him and that if someone did not want to live in this country, he had to leave.

Even if he did not name them, everyone knows that the American president is referring to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley, who regularly appear together, especially on social networks. Apart from Ilhan Omar, a refugee from Somalia, who arrived as a child in the United States, all were born on American soil.

They quickly replied on Twitter. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a native of Puerto Rico and very popular among Democrats, accused the US president of using the language of white supremacists.

It's important to note that the President's words are, of the American Congress of the color of "go back to your own country," is hallmark language of white supremacists.

Trump feels comfortable leading the GOP into outright racism, and that should concern all Americans.

Congressional Democrat leader Nancy Pelosi denounced xenophobic comments by the president. Other opposition politicians and candidates for the Democratic nomination have denounced " racist tweets ".

I reject @ realDonaldTrump's xenophobic comments meant to divide our nation. Rather than attack Members of Congress, he should work with us for immigration policy that reflects American values. Stop the raids - #FamiliesBelongTogether!

In a statement, US Republican Senator Susan Collins also condemned " inappropriate " remarks and said the presidential tweet should be " withdrawn ".
