The Arab Observatory for Freedom of Information (an independent human rights organization) documented 41 violations of journalists in Egypt last June. The Egyptian authorities usually declare their freedom of media and the press and deny the accusations of human rights organizations.

The number of detained journalists has increased to 85 journalists and journalists after three arrests in the past month, with the enforced disappearance of a journalist for the third month in a row.

The Observatory said in its monthly report, which reached Al Jazeera Net, "June 2019 was difficult for the press community in Egypt, where the Egyptian authorities intensified its repression of journalists and journalists exceeded expectations," stressing that "these authorities continue to waste rights and the abolition of the Constitution and the law" .

He added that the mere "hope" is now being held accountable for two prominent journalists arrested on 20 June, Hussam Mouannis and Hisham Fouad.

The Observatory pointed out that the crime of blocking the sites continued to increase the number of blocked sites in Egypt to 520 sites after blocking the sites of the Turkish Anatolia Agency and Turkish TV, with the continued crisis blocking the editorial site.
