It is decided that Eid al-Adha holiday will begin in the ministries and federal bodies, from the ninth to the 12th of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, corresponding to the Gregorian date. This came in the circular issued by the Federal Authority for Human Resources of the Government, based on the decision of the Council of Ministers on public holidays for the governmental and private sectors in the State, which was adopted in the fifth item of the agenda of the official holidays of 2019. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, 12 of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah will be a paid holiday for all employees in the establishments, institutions and companies of the private sector in the State, on the occasion of the pause of Arafah and Eid al-Adha.
This came in a circular issued by the Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization, Nasser bin Thani Al-Hamli, in implementation of the decision of the Council of Ministers regarding the identification of events and public holidays for employees in the private sector.
