“Despite the withdrawal of the military, the police, border guards, national guardsmen and specialists of the State Emergency Service are serving in a reinforced version. We reinforced the patrols with 56 policemen, ”the Ukrainian Deputy Interior Minister Vadim Troyan said in a statement published on Facebook by the Ukrainian Interior Ministry’s press service.
The deputy minister added that rescue department sappers continue to work actively in the area.
Earlier, Russia's plenipotentiary in the contact group on Ukraine, Boris Gryzlov, said that the data of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) confirmed the successful completion of the withdrawal of the forces of the conflicting parties in the area of the village of Luganskaya in the Donbas.
