The captain of the women's football team, Megan Rapinoe, confirmed on Thursday that she would not go to the White House after the World Cup in France, the day after a re-framing of President Donald Trump to against him.
"I maintain my remarks about not going to the White House," said the American forward in the preamble of a press conference held in Paris on the eve of the quarter-final against France at the World Cup .

The US president took Rapinoe in a series of tweets on Wednesday, saying "Megan should never disrespect our country, the White House and our flag."
