“We confirm the preparations for the next meeting of the Russia-NATO Council, which is scheduled for July 5,” TASS quoted the agency’s representative.
It is planned that during the meeting the issue of security in Europe and the world will be discussed against the background of the US withdrawal from the INF Treaty (Treaty on the Elimination of Medium and Shorter-Range Missiles), as well as the issues of “predictability of military activities”.
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced a meeting of the Council with Russia to discuss the INF.
