Georgian Prime Minister announces work on preserving tourist traffic from Russia

According to him, Georgia’s short-term plan is to “resolve the problems that have arisen in a timely manner.”

He stated that the Georgian authorities should ensure that the income in the country was not reduced.

“We work in all areas, including that the number of tourists from Russia is not reduced,” RIA Novosti quotes him.

Earlier, the National Bank of Georgia reported that due to the expected reduction in tourist flow from Russia due to the cancellation of air traffic, the country's economy will lose up to $ 200–300 million by the end of 2019.
