Vadim Rabinovich, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, co-chairman of the party “The Oppositional Platform - For Life”, said that the staff of the presidential administration of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky suggested moving the Ukrainian capital from Kiev to another city.
“Another ingenious thing was said by the presidential administration, although the jokes must end sometime - the capital must be moved. The capital of Ukraine, Kiev, must be moved to another place. This is the official statement of the Zelensky party, ”said Rabinovich.
According to him, presumably, Krivoi Rog can become the “capital”, where the acting head of state comes from.
“Good people, I don’t mind organizing the 95th quarter from the country (the company founded by Zelensky. - RT ), but what will we eat at the end of this? Well, this is a kind of anecdote that has already begun, ”the people's deputy added.
We note that no official statements regarding the transfer of the capital were made either by the administration of the President of Ukraine, or by the party “Servant of the People”.
At the same time, the Verkhovna Rada believes that there is practically no opportunity to transfer the Ukrainian capital.
“As far as I know, there is no specific decision on the transfer of the capital yet. The environment of Zelensky sees this as a hypothetical possibility. But this is impossible - the Rada deputies, businessmen and the population will oppose. The Verkhovna Rada will not vote for this, ”a source at the Popular Front party told RT.
A representative of the “Self-help” party in a conversation with RT noted that Zelensky “is trying to do everything to differ from the previous presidents of the country”.
“He's good at it. I am only interested in the question of when real reforms will begin in Ukraine, and not this props. When Zelensky initiates reforms, he will appoint strong leaders in the region, and not real corrupt officials. But apparently, he decided to amuse the people again. But I think that this time the population will not appreciate the humor, ”he said.

Note that even during the election campaign at the presidential elections, representatives of Vladimir Zelensky expressed the idea of moving the administration of the head of state from the building on Bankova Street in Kiev to another building. In June, these statements received specifics.
On June 20, the project of moving to the reconstructed “Ukrainian House” located on the European Square was submitted. The President of Ukraine praised the concept presented by the designers. He also indicated that a search for a normal financial scheme was underway in order not to use funds from the state budget. At the same time, a museum should be established in the building on Bankova Street.
“Guys, this is top-level corruption, when the president transports his administration at someone’s expense. We went crazy. We need a national psychiatrist, ”said Rabinovich.
In addition, Vladimir Zelensky approved the regulations on the “Office of the President of Ukraine”. Thus, the administration of the head of state was reorganized and the number of employees of the Administration was reduced.

The party "Batkivshchyna" believe that the current head of state may lose its rating faster than the parliamentary elections.

Secondly, if the new Verkhovna Rada, which will be elected, will decide on the need to transfer the capital of Ukraine, for example, to Lviv, that is their right. Because Lviv is probably more supportive of all these nationalistic ideas that are currently hovering in Ukraine, ”Vodolatsky said in an interview with RT.

Political analyst Ivan Mezyuho did not rule out that information about the transfer of the capital may be reliable, since the Zelensky team has already been remembered by ambiguous statements. He also added that the implementation of this process will not solve the socio-economic and political problems in Ukraine.
“If such an initiative really came from the team of the Ukrainian president, then this news would be negatively perceived by the people of Kiev, who would not want Kiev to cease to be the capital of the Ukrainian state. In turn, the chairman of the Federation Council’s information policy commission, Alexei Pushkov, with irony, accepted the news about the possible transfer of the capital of Ukraine from Kiev.
