The corresponding bill entitled “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Reducing the Cost of Electric Energy” has been published on the official website of the Parliament of Ukraine.
At the same time, Zelensky noted the project as urgent for consideration.
According to the information on the website of the Parliament, the document was submitted to the leadership of the parliament.
Earlier, the representative of the party “Servant of the People” Irina Vereshchuk said that the abolition of the formula “Rotterdam +” at the initiative of Zelensky would allow a 7% reduction in utility tariffs in Ukraine.
At the same time, the expert of the National Energy Security Fund, Igor Yushkov, in an interview with FBA Economy Today expressed doubts about the possibility of lowering the price of energy in Ukraine after the cancellation of the Rotterdam + formula.
