Two children (3 and 4 years old) died of suffocation in a fire incident at their home in Madaba district, Fujairah.
The head of the civil defense department in Fujairah, Brigadier Ali Obaid Al-Tanayji told Emirates Al-Youm that the two children died after they were surrounded by the fire that broke out in their family's home, and then there was only the grandmother in the house who begged the people, who in turn informed the Civil Defense Department.
"At 10:30 am, a fire broke out in the house of a citizen in the Madab district of Fujairah. The fire and rescue teams moved to the site of the fire and the fire that destroyed large parts of the house was extinguished. Two children were killed inside the house, While their parents were in their workplaces, noting that the bodies of the two children had been taken out and that the file had been transferred to the relevant police station to investigate the real causes of the fire.
