“The servicemen are working out measures to bring in the highest levels of combat readiness, make marches on standard equipment to designated areas, deploy field control centers and field communications centers and perform tasks for the intended purpose,” the agency said in a statement.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that about 150 thousand soldiers and more than 20 thousand weapons were involved in the verification of the Central Military District.

On June 24, according to the decision of the Supreme Commander, President of Russia Vladimir Putin in the troops and forces of the Central Military District, an unscheduled check of combat readiness began.

The event will last until June 28th. It is planned to conduct more than 50 exercises at 35 test sites.
