The iconic Memphis point guard, Mike Conley, will leave the Grizzlies for Utah as part of an exchange involving a total of four players.

According to ESPN on Wednesday, Memphis traded Conley with the Jazz, which sent Grayson Allen, Kyle Korver and Jae Crowder to Tennessee, as well as the 23rd pick in the 2019 Draft and a next round pick. .

The transaction can not be formalized until July 6th. Conley, however, confirmed his departure on his Twitter account.

"What can I say about my city? It made me the man I am today and Memphis will always be my home," he wrote.

"The time has come to open a new chapter, so I'm looking forward to giving all I have for Jazz and Salt Lake City," he added.

Conley, 31, has spent his entire career in Memphis and in twelve NBA seasons averages of 21.1 points and 6.4 assists per game.
