Qatar Airways has been awarded the highest rated airline award in the world, the world's best airline award for 2019, according to a report in The Independent.
Skytrax, the world's leading airline rating company, has issued its annual report, ranking the best airline globally, with Qatar Airways being ranked first in the year.
Kathy Adams added in her newspaper report that Qatar Airways occupied the center after Singapore Airlines took off last year, pushing it to second place.
Following Qatar Airways and Singapore, Japan's ANI Nippon Airways and Cathay Pacific Airways were in Hong Kong and UAE respectively.

"This is a moment of pride for all of us at Qatar Airways, where we are laying our global footprint and keen to create new standards in the aviation industry," Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said.
The awards are being announced at the Paris Air Show, with more than 20 million passengers from around the world voting on them.
Skytrax has also issued awards for best crews, best low-cost airlines, most clean air lines, and other regional awards.
The Independent also notes that Qatar Airways has won other awards in related fields.
