The weather will be stormy over much of the country on Thursday, with temperatures slightly down.

The weather is still very stormy Thursday, including the Pyrenees northeast, according to the forecasts of Météo-France. Storms will be present in the early hours of the day, from the Pyrenees to the Massif Central to Alsace. Precipitation accumulations may be locally important. A sensible lull will return at the end of the morning on the South-West but the locally stormy showers will still persist in places. On the other hand, storms will remain active in the afternoon in Auvergne and the east of the country, from Alsace to the interior of Provence and the Alpes-Maritimes.

In the west of the country, from the Gironde to Brittany in the Paris Basin and the Hauts-de-France, the conditions will be much quieter, the sky will be quite sunny and the showers will remain rare and very localized. A rainy and sometimes stormy weather will quickly cross the north then the north-east of the country in the morning. The sun, however, will dominate the Mediterranean coast all day long. At the end of the day, a new stormy degradation will announce from the Pyrenees to extend, in the night, towards the Massif Central and the Languedoc.

Temperatures down slightly

Temperatures will be slightly lower. In the afternoon, the maximum will be around 18 to 24 degrees, locally 25 to 26 in the southwest and Alsace, and nearly 28 to 32 in the Mediterranean and Corsica.
