In Odessa, Saakashvili met with his supporters.
It is indicated that during the meeting the politician advertised his party, and also threatened the Odessa mayor Gennady Trukhanov with “anti-corruption special forces”.
“Saakashvili’s speech began with the statement that Odessa was captured, we quote“ the medieval Banderlog ”, which caused some perplexity of those present,” the online edition reported.
According to Saakashvili, he meant “first of all Trukhanov and his corrupt environment”.
The politician also showed handcuffs in which he was deported from Ukraine. According to Saakashvili, he intends to "personally snap them on the wrists of the Odessa mayor."
Earlier, Saakashvili said that he maintained contact with the Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky before his return to Ukraine and the restoration of Ukrainian citizenship.
