The Egyptian Human Rights Organization (AIHR), based in Switzerland, confirmed that the Egyptian security forces imposed on the family of the late Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi a funeral in the presence of his children and his wife only.

The organization said in a statement on its Facebook page that the Egyptian security will require the family to bury the body of Morsi in the graves of Nasr City north of the capital Cairo.

Egyptian state television announced late Monday that former president Mohamed Morsi had died while attending his trial, and said Morsi had suffered a fainting accident after the trial.

Media sources said that "Morsi spoke before the court for 20 minutes, and then did not go to the hospital where he died."

The sources said that following the adjournment of the session, Mursi was hit by a fainting fainted. The body was taken to hospital and the necessary measures are being taken.
