The Dubai Court of Appeals has upheld a ruling by the Criminal Court to detain an Asian worker for two years on charges of causing the death of his colleague during an altercation between them as a result of previous disagreements while they were living together in a worker's room in the Muhaisnah area.
According to investigations by the Public Prosecutor's Office, the two workers were arguing sharply about a problem, which the defendant did not disclose, and then the defendant pushed his colleague in the chest. He fell to the ground and struggled to breathe. The ambulance was called, and the police were informed of the incident. And the medics tried to save him in every way, but he breathed his last breath out of him a few hours after the incident.
Musharraf told the workers that his colleagues told him that there was a problem between two workers. He went to the workers' room and saw the policemen and the victim who fell on the ground. One of the workers who saw the incident said that the workers clashed with hands and the victim suddenly fell to the ground. .
According to a medical report, the victim suffered a sudden heart attack due to the quarrel, and the Dubai Public Prosecution charged the accused with a felony that resulted in death.
For his part, denied the accused in front of the Criminal Court assault on his colleague, and confirmed that it was just a verbal quarrel, and sentenced the court to convict, and two years, and then deportation.
