For the first time, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation published a dossier about the study of hair and tissue samples that supposedly belonged to a snowman. In 1976, the director of the information center, which dealt with the existence of the yeti, addressed the ministry with a request to analyze the biomaterial. The FBI, on an exceptional basis, got down to business for the sake of "scientific research." However, the examination showed that the hair belonged to an animal of the deer family.
