A member of the forces of freedom and change civil Abbas Madani said that the campaign of civil disobedience will continue to overthrow the military junta. He added that the opposition rejected all that was stated in the statement of the President of the Transitional Military Council, Abdul Fattah Burhan.

"The military council has procrastinated in negotiations to gain time before the sit-down stage, which was well planned," Madani said.

The military council decided at the dawn of the formation of a functioning government, cancel previous agreements with the forces of freedom and change, and organize elections within nine months under international supervision.

International investigation
The gathering of Sudanese professionals called for an international inquiry into the killing of more than 35 protesters and hundreds wounded when security forces broke up a sit-in in front of the Ministry of Defense in central Khartoum on Monday.

Amjad Farid, a spokesman for the group, said he rejected a plan to set up a government commission of inquiry, as announced by the head of the Transitional Military Council.

For its part, urged the Democratic Alliance lawyers "some Arab countries" not to interfere in Sudanese affairs and stop supporting the military junta.

"We also ask some Arab countries to turn their backs on the Sudan and to support and support the military council and consolidate its rule in order to protect it and protect it for its own harmful interests to the Sudanese state and its citizens," the alliance said in a statement published by the Sudanese Professionals Association.

Coalition comments are apparently aimed at Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which analysts say is trying to strengthen its influence in Sudan following the ouster of President Omar al-Bashir in April.

Continue protests
This comes at a time when the protests continued after the sit-in before the General Command of the Sudanese army. Protesters closed a number of streets in areas of the capital and set fire to tires, activists said on social networking sites.

Sections of social networking sites showed the deployment of military junta soldiers in Khartoum, while other scenes showed what appeared to be attempts by soldiers to chase demonstrators in an effort to stop rallies or sit-ins.

Protesters demonstrated on Tuesday morning in Omdurman, where they closed a number of streets and set fire to tires, according to videos circulated by activists through social media sites.

For its part, the Central Sudan Doctors Committee announced the injury of a number of citizens as a result of the security forces fired at them in Bahri city. The Committee noted that conditions of security, communications and the Internet prevented accurate statistics on the number of casualties.

"The doctors are being severely curtailed in their work by the coup military council," the committee said.

Earlier on Tuesday, Sudanese protesters rallied to perform Eid al-Fitr prayers and perform absentee prayers for those killed in the sit-in outside the Ministry of Defense. Activists said the military council banned Eid prayers in some mosques.

The Sudanese were divided on the date of Eid al-Fitr in light of the unstable political situation in the country after the army overthrew President Omar al-Bashir.

The gathering of professionals and political opposition factions said that Tuesday is the occasion of Shawwal, compared to some Arab and Islamic countries that announced that, while the Islamic Fiqh Academy in the country said that Tuesday is the completion of the month of Ramadan thirty days, and Wednesday is Eid al-Fitr.
