Czech NPC World No. 2 wimbledon winner Petra Kvitova of the United States is uncertain for the London tournament (July 1-4) due to a muscle tear in her left forearm, she said on Tuesday.

"Unfortunately, the rift is not quite small," admitted the double winner of the London Grand Slam (2011, 2014) to the agency CTK, about the injury that had already forced him to withdraw for Roland Garros.

"It's my dominant hand, so it's not easy, we'll see," added the 29-year-old Czech left-winger.

According to physiotherapist Pavel Kolar interviewed by the Czech agency, Kvitova should remain at rest for five or six weeks.

"There are minutes when it hurts a lot, like minutes when I do not feel it at all, but I'm getting a little better, I already manage to brush my teeth," said Kvitova, who has always responded at Wimbledon since its first participation in 2008.

"I'll do anything to be there," said Kvitova, who has been the title this year in Sydney and Stuttgart, and finalist at the Australian Open and Dubai.
