Russia by the end of the year will put on duty three regiments with "Yars" and one with "Avangards"

“By the end of this year, over 90 units of basic weapons, military and special equipment will be delivered to the Strategic Missile Forces, which will ensure the launch of the full-range Yars rocket regiments of the Yoshkar-Ola, Irkutsk and Barnaul missile formations, two stationary launching launchers in the Kozelsk missile compound, as well as a missile regiment with the Avangard strategic missile system at the Yasnensky missile compound ", the statement says activities.

Earlier, the Avangard strategic purpose complexes began to come into service with the Russian army.

In August 2018, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Strategic Missile Forces began training specialists to work on the latest Sarmat and Avant-garde missile systems.
