"The draft law on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the civil confiscation of property of individuals - citizens of Ukraine who voluntarily obtained citizenship of the Russian Federation and live in certain areas of Donetsk and Lugansk regions", - stated in the signature to the bill.
It is noted that on June 4, the document was received by the Rada and handed over for “management review”.

On May 7, the DPR set about accepting documents for obtaining Russian citizenship in a simplified manner. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has received several thousand applications for admission to citizenship from residents of the republics of Donbass.
