Eidiyah is the gift given by parents and relatives during Eid, and is translated in the amount of money given by the senior family to the children instead of the gift in kind. Eidiyah is an old custom that gives joy to Eid, and is one of its most important manifestations. It is considered an Islamic custom that has spread over the centuries and has not lost its luster until today.
