Al-Jazeera Net learned from its sources that the Qatari prime minister will represent his country at the summit of Mecca to be held on Thursday.

Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, told Saudi officials that Saudi Arabia's move was a retreat from accusations by Saudi Arabia and countries involved in the siege of Qatar over the past two years.

An important question has emerged in this regard regarding the type of Qatari response and the country representation and its size in the Gulf and Arab Islamic summits to be held in Mecca on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The sensitivity of the situation in the region also calls for Doha to look at the three summits within a broader framework of regional differences, a framework that takes into consideration the nature of the region's major challenges and is directly and directly affecting Doha.

He also said that Doha is considering upgrading its representation in comparison to its previous summits to the level of the prime minister, in an effort to give the full opportunity to discuss in depth the issues presented before the Mecca meetings.
