The Sharjah Civil Defense teams were able to control a fire in one of the shops dedicated to bicycle rental in Al-Badair tourist area in the central region of Sharjah on Wednesday evening. The fire resulted in the destruction of 74 recreational bikes and a canopy to protect them from the sun.

The Civil Defense Department of Emirates Al-Youm confirmed that the fire was controlled and cooled within an hour, resulting in damage to 155 recreational bicycles, in addition to burning the umbrella that protects the bikes from the sun, pointing out that no injuries were recorded.
