“Secretary Perry, Ambassador Sondland, Senator Johnson and I informed the White House about the impressions of our trip to Ukraine for the inauguration of President Zelensky,” wrote Volker on Twitter.
He noted that "there is a window of opportunity to promote the common interests of Ukraine and the United States."
Earlier, the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko awarded the Special Representative of the US State Department for Ukraine Kurt Walker with the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise.
