LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Ten people were killed and three wounded in a fight between drug traffickers in the midwestern parts of Mexico, local media reported on Wednesday.

According to the prosecutor's office in Michoacan province, gunmen who were believed to be drug traffickers on the road near Uruapan in the afternoon of the afternoon made a bloody shootout for about an hour.

State prosecutors have estimated that the rival gangs in the region, Ros Viagra and Harrisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), have been involved in a shootout.

Ross Viagra is a drug-crime organization traditionally based in the state of Michoacan.

Recently, however, CJNG has moved beyond the state of Harrisko, expanding its power in Miko Akan, creating a bloody conflict.

Both organizations are distributing synthetic drugs.

Local residents reported to the police after a gunshots rang on the road connecting Uruapan and Lombardy at 2 pm the day before.

Police who were reported to the scene of the shooting found nine bodies, and one of the injured was transferred to the hospital and died.

Police said they found weapons on the shooting range that could be used in the army.
