“Usually, the parliament, since I entered it in 2016 after the Russian captivity, has never been different,” said Savchenko.

According to her, these “have always been haughty, self-satisfied faces, hypocritical and cynical eyes and deceitful words.”

“I saw their eyes frightened when they deprived me of parliamentary immunity and put me in a Ukrainian prison. I saw fear in the eyes of my colleagues for the first time, ”said the deputy.

She stated that she “understood that it was good.”

“So they are people and know how to be afraid. I gave a year of my life in prison, and probably it was worth it to see the fear in the eyes of those who considered themselves immortal, ”Savchenko added.

Earlier, Savchenko commented on the decision of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky to dissolve the Verkhovna Rada.

In her opinion, “not a single political force, not a single political project and grouping that occupied the seat in the Verkhovna Rada this time and the previous 28 years in a row, be again in the Verkhovna Rada of the new convocation.”
