A French agent killed her husband in the crash of a Boeing 737-meter passenger plane in Ethiopia has filed suit in the United States for the aircraft manufacturer, demanding at least $ 276 million, a lawyer said on Tuesday.

Jonathan Sachs, 45, was killed along with 156 others in March when an Ethiopian Airlines plane crashed on Route 302 near Addis Ababa.

The Texas widow and her lawyer have accused the company of offering the lives of passengers and other aircraft of the same type who are in trouble and know it.

149 passengers, including 12 Arabs and eight crew members from more than 30 countries, were on board the plane en route to the Kenyan capital of Nairobi.
