The Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal has started the trial of an Arab youth, a university student accused of filming in prohibited places. He was arrested during filming and confiscated the camera he was carrying.

The court asked the defendant to confess to filming in a place where photography is prohibited, pointing out that he loves photography, that he was not aware that the area is forbidden to photograph, and that he paid the fine that was awarded by the court of the first degree, amounting to 5000 dirhams.

During the session, he demanded the cancellation of his fine and the recovery of his camera, which was confiscated at the time of the incident, pointing out that he appealed the sentence because he paid the fine from his university expenses.

At the same hearing, the Court considered an Arab case accused of being behind periodic examination dates, which must be subjected to it to ensure that it ceases to use any narcotic substances.

The judge asked the defendant to confess to the drug, noting that he had no knowledge of the date of the periodic examination, and that he was sick during this time, and then went to the hospital for treatment, and he has documents to prove it.

He asked the court for amnesty and mercy, stressing that it was the first time that drug users had been arrested. The drug had not been used before, and the court decided to postpone the case.
