The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, held talks with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on bilateral relations and several issues of mutual concern.
A statement by the Emiri Diwan in Kuwait said the talks, which took place Sunday afternoon at the Dasman Palace in Kuwait City, dealt with issues of mutual concern.
He added that the visit of the Emir of Qatar dealt with ways to enhance and develop bilateral cooperation between the two countries at all levels to serve their common interests.
The statement, which was published by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), said the two leaders also discussed the latest developments on the regional and international arenas.
For his part, said the Qatari News Agency that Sheikh Tamim and Sheikh Sabah reviewed the brotherly relations and deep ties and deep ties between the two countries and the two peoples and their support and promotion.
She added that the meeting also dealt with a number of issues of common interest and current developments on the regional and international arenas, pointing out the return of the Emir of Qatar late Sunday evening to Doha.
The Emir of Qatar visited Kuwait in February and met with Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
