In his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, issued a law establishing the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center.

The law stipulates that the Center shall have an independent legal personality and shall have full legal capacity to act and to follow the Department of Health.

The Center aims to preserve the health of the population of the Emirate and ensure the safety of its employees by promoting the concepts of public health and preventive health.

The Center is responsible for collecting evidence and data on cases of serious occupational accidents and accidents in coordination with the concerned authorities to identify their causes and reduce their risks, and to register technical service providers and all specialists in the fields of public health and preventive health licensed by the Department.

The Center will also develop training programs for the system to raise public health and preventive health capacities, and to prepare, implement and develop awareness and education programs related to public health and preventive health, and to develop, implement and develop programs related to worker health protection, disease prevention and rehabilitation.

The Center is responsible for conducting surveys and developing systems for collecting data and information regarding public health and preventive health in coordination with relevant authorities, developing, implementing and developing programs and activities related to public health and preventive health and developing them, providing vaccinations and vaccination programs, Public health and preventive health, and to promote and promote healthy lifestyle patterns and behaviors for the population of the Emirate.
