“Our relations are developing in different areas - in the economy and in the energy sector, so we need to do everything to ensure their development by law,” said Volodin.
He also noted that one of the promising areas of development of business relations between the two countries is agriculture.
“You know that by the end of 2017, Russian exports of agricultural products to Qatar increased by 2.3 times compared with the previous year and amounted to slightly more than $ 38 million,” added Volodin.
On October 5, the heads of the Ministries of Energy of Qatar and Russia Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sade and Alexander Novak discussed cooperation in the energy sector.
