US special envoy for Afghanistan talks about negotiations with the Taliban

At the same time, he added that the US intends to continue negotiations with the Taliban, since the parties "have a number of issues that remain to be worked out."

Earlier, the media reported that the United States and the Taliban reached a preliminary agreement on ending the 17-year war in Afghanistan. One of the clauses of the treaty provides for the withdrawal of foreign troops from the state.
