A customer of a hotel in the United States filed a complaint against the Hilton group after being filmed naked in her hotel room.

A woman who claims to have been filmed naked without her knowledge in a hotel room and then blackmailed around the video has sued the Hilton group, which she claims $ 100 million.

In a lawsuit filed on November 30 in a court in Fairfax, Virginia, the alleged victim claims to have been filmed during a stay at the facility in Albany, New York, in July 2015.

She explains that she did not learn of the existence of a recording until the end of September 2018, when a person contacted her on condition of anonymity.

A video posted on a pornographic site

The unknown, who has not been identified to date, told him to have already put, with a text mentioning the identity of the young woman, the online video on a pornographic site.

According to the complaint, he then blackmailed her, threatening to broadcast the video on other pornographic sites if the alleged victim did not pay him money. He claimed $ 2,000 immediately and regular payments of $ 1,000 a month.

The young woman did not respond, the master singer ran and the video was uploaded to more than ten pornographic sites.

The stalker then created a fake e-mail address in the name of the alleged victim, and then sent messages to some of his friends and colleagues inciting them, pretending to be the young woman, to see the video under the pretext misleading.

She believes that the Hilton Group, as well as two of its subcontractors, failed to ensure that her privacy was preserved during her stay at the hotel.

No cameras found

The alleged victim alleges that the person who made the video was an employee of the group and that he filmed other clients than her.

Asked by AFP, the group Hilton, owner of the hotel, said they found "no evidence" of the presence of a camera in the bathroom of the room incriminated, after an inspection.

He stated that the hotel, owned by Hampton Inn, a subsidiary of Hilton, had been completely renovated since the alleged events and that "no recording device (had) been discovered" on this occasion.
